About Us

The Pancretan Youth Association of Europe (PYE) was founded to unite young people of Cretan descent and friends of Crete across the continent. We believe that heritage is not only preserved in museums and history books, but lived through music, dance, language, and community.

Our organization serves as a bridge between generations, connecting young Cretans with the traditions of their ancestors while building a vibrant, modern community rooted in shared values of hospitality, resilience, and pride.

From folk dance workshops and language classes to cultural festivals and networking events, we create spaces where Cretan identity can be expressed, celebrated, and passed on.
